INTRODUCTION

Project Donor Love (“PDL,” “us,” or “we”) is committed to respecting the privacy rights of the users of PDL’s website and related services (collectively, “the Services”). This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is only applicable to the Services, and not to any other external websites that you may be able to access from the Services, each of which may have data collection and use practices and policies that differ from this Policy.

INFORMATION COLLECTION PRACTICES

What Information Does PDL Collect?

We may collect the following types information from you when you use the Services:

  • Information by which you may be personally identified, such as your name, phone number, job title and e-mail address (“personal information”);
  • That you voluntarily enter on the website, including credit card information; and/or
  • About your internet connection and other usage details.

We collect this information:

  • Directly from you when you provide it to us.
  • Automatically as you navigate through the site. Information collected automatically may include usage details, IP addresses, web browser preferences, and information collected through cookies and other tracking technologies. Although we do not correlate tracking information to individuals, some information collected, such as IP addresses, will be unique.

USE AND SHARING OF INFORMATION

What Does the Company Do With Collected Information?

(a) PERSONAL INFORMATION. We may share your personal information with third-parties, including but not limited to Google Analytics, without your express consent. We may use your personal information to verify your identity, check your qualifications, follow up with transactions initiated with Services, inform you of any changes to the Services, or send you additional information about PDL. PDL does not store your credit card information.

(b) ANONYMOUS INFORMATION. We may use anonymous information to analyze traffic on the Services and improve, operate, and debug the Services, but we do not examine this information for individually identifying information. Traffic and transaction information may also be shared with business partners and advertisers on an aggregate and anonymous basis.

(c) DISCLOSURE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAW. We may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in accordance with our the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to (1) conform with the law or comply with legal process served on the PDL, (2) protect and defend the rights or property of PDL or the users of the Services, or (3) act under exigent circumstances to protect the safety of the public or users of the Services.

(d) SALE OF INFORMATION. In order to accommodate changes in our business, we may sell or buy portions of PDL or other companies or assets, including the information collected through the Services. If PDL or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will be one of the assets transferred to the acquirer.

(e) ACCESS TO INFORMATION. You may review, update, correct, and/or delete personal information by emailing us at legal@projectdonorlove.com. Each email sent to you also includes instructions for unsubscribing to PDL emails at the bottom of the email, and these requests will be processed as quickly as practicable. PDL reserves the right to verify your identity in such cases.

Even after information modification or removal, copies of personal information may remain on the Services to the extent that it had been previously shared with other users. In addition, PDL may retain certain information in order to prevent identity theft and other illegal activities after an approved deletion. Removed information may remain in archives, but will not be available to other users or third parties.

(f) DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS. At this time, the Services ignore Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals and/or mechanisms.

THIRD-PARTY USE OF COOKIES

Some content, including advertisements, on the Services may be served by third-parties, including advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers, and service providers. These third parties may use cookies to collect information about you when you use the Services. They may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content.

We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly.

We have security measures in place to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information that we obtain from you, but we make no assurances about our ability to prevent any such loss or misuse to you or to any third party, or to prevent any damages arising out of any such loss, misuse, or alteration.

AREAS BEYOND COMPANY’S CONTROL

The Services may contain links to other websites. If you choose to visit other websites, we are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those other websites, and it is your responsibility to review the privacy policies at those websites to confirm that you understand and agree with their policies. 

NOTICE CONCERNING THE INFORMATION OF CHILDREN

The Services and our website are not directed to children under the age of 13 and do not knowingly or intentionally collect information from children under the age of 13. Please contact us if your child has provided personal information to us and we will delete the information.

UPDATES AND CHANGES

We reserve the right, at any time, to add to, change, update, or modify this Policy, simply by posting such change, update, or modification on the Services and without any other notice to you. Any such change, update, or modification will be effective immediately upon posting on the Services. It is your responsibility to review this Policy from time to time to ensure that you continue to agree with all of its terms.
